Mohammed JIFER, Director of CRI-LSH, participated in the 5th stage of the Morocco-France Economic Days, held from February 7th to 9th in Marseille under the theme: “New Energies, What Solutions for Tomorrow?” During this event, Mr. Director presented the Laâyoune Sakia El Hamra Region, highlighting the potential and investment opportunities in the field of renewable energies (RE).
Among the highlights of this day were panels led by experts in RE (solar, wind, biomass, hydropower, and green hydrogen). Other important topics related to the subject, such as innovation, digitalization, and RE project financing, were also addressed.
In addition to networking opportunities, the event featured a B to B program and organized visits to the following sites: the “Thassalia” marine geothermal power plant, Total Energies’ solar farm “La Feuillane” in Fos-sur-Mer, and the Total Energies Technical Energy Trades Training Center.
